Which inspection do you need?
- Pre-purchase vs pre-sale
- A pre-purchase inspection is commissioned by the buyer before settlement; a pre-sale inspection is commissioned by the seller before listing. Both are the same thorough accessible-area assessment — the difference is who is making the decision.
- Building inspection vs pest inspection
- A building inspection assesses the structure and condition of the home. A timber pest inspection is a separate, specialised service for termites and timber decay. We do building inspections only and are happy to refer you to a qualified pest inspector.
- Practical completion vs construction-stage
- Construction-stage inspections check the build at slab, frame and lock-up while issues can still be fixed. A practical completion (PCI) inspection is the final handover check before your last payment.

No. We specialise exclusively in building inspections. If timber pest cover is needed, we are happy to point you toward a qualified pest inspector.

How much does a building inspection cost in Canberra?
